Today Kate Toman from Josten's was here to present three presentations to the Freshmen, Sophomores, and the Juniors. Kate's presentation to the Freshmen included information about grade point averages, credits, and committing to graduate. The presentation was capped off as each member of the class signed his or her name on their Class of 2016 banner. That banner will join the others in the cafeteria.
The Class of 2015 had the opportunity to discuss the making of memories and the importance of having lasting symbols of their time here at Rockport High School. This culminated with students receiving their opportunity to purchase a class ring. A Josten's represnetative will be here to take orders for class rings. The highlight of the presentation was trying on Zdeno Chara's 2011 Stanley Cup Champions Ring.

The Junior Class discussed the need for pausing before you post on-line. Josten's in conjunction with Justin W. Patchin, PhD. and Sameer Hinduja, PhD on the importance of thinking about what is posted prior to posting it. The presentation gave students a variety of options on how to deal with their on-line presence and personal publishing.
