Congratulations to our NAQT/PACE Quiz Bowl Team!!!

On Saturday, September 22,  six students from RHS were invited to attend a NAQT/ PACE  quiz bowl tournament at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge.  Captain Corey Silver led his team to a third place finish at this interscholastic  tournament.  This is an incredible achievement for the team in their first interscholastic competition!  

Corey also won a book award for being the highest individual scorer of ALL the contestants.  Because of their high ranking finish, Rockport  qualified for two upcoming national tournaments in Chicago and Atlanta.  

Congratulations to Captain Corey Silver, Ekin Bakkal, Quenton Hurst, Sayles Kasten, Nelson Pike and Nate Allen. The team is coached by Mr. Neil Dineen and Ms. Martha Cooney both of our social studies department.
