RHS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

RHS students Sam Cunningham and Evan Razdan get the lowdown on aqueous biotoxins and their effects on the filtration rates of blue mussels, as presented by Meagan Currie, a student at Greely High School in Cumberland, Maine.

On March 21, RHS students in Dr. Waller’s AP Physics class traveled to the University of New Hampshire – Durham to attend the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) that UNH hosts annually.  Sponsored by research offices of the United States Army, Navy and Air Force, the JSHS is a nationwide event involving 48 regional host sites.  More than 100 students from throughout New England participated in the event at UNH.  This was the first time that RHS students have participated in the JSHS.

The Rockport PTO graciously provided funding for the rental van – Thank you PTO!
