The Rockport High School Drama Llamas present:
The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 by John Bishop
The Rockport High School Drama Llamas will soon
mount their production of The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 by John
Bishop. It is the story of a creative team brought together again for a
backer’s audition. The team is reunited for the first time after a recent
Broadway flop in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious and
un-apprehended “Stage Door Slasher.” The “Stage Door Slasher” is drawn
out by the reunion and murderously comic mayhem ensues as he strikes, again –
and again – and again. As the actors and creative team attempt to prepare
for a performance, shadowy figures loom, weapons appear
from thin air, bodies start to drop, fingers start to point, and true
identities are revealed.
