Seniors helping Seniors POSTPONED

This year's Seniors Helping Seniors Day has been postponed until spring.  We are postponing the day in conjunction with the Rockport Council on Aging due to the threat of EEE and West Nile Virus.  We will plan to hold the community service event in the spring.  The Class of 2013 is disappointed not to be assisting the senior citizens prepare for the winter months but is excited to keep this tradition alive in the spring.  Members of the Class of 2013 will be available to assist with raking, cleaning flower beds, cleaning porch furniture, washing windows, taking out porch and patio furniture, replacing screens, and storing storm windows.  Senior citizens interested in these services should stay in touch with Ms. Diane Bertolino at the Rockport Council on Aging.  As soon as we have a date we will let you know.
