The Electrathon Team Captures Third Place at Lime Rock Speedway

Congratulations to the RMHS Electrathon Team for capturing a third place trophy at this year's Electrathon Challenge in Lime Rock, Connecticut!

Last week a number of us had the opportunity to attend the MASSCue conference at Gillette Stadium (yes we did get to see the Patriots practice before their game in London).  MASSCue is a conference about technology in education, it is the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators Conference.  At the conference we heard from Travis Allen, Travis is a college student who speaks to educators to help them understand what the world is like for digital natives like himself.  As such Travis has a great organization called the iSchool Initiative (http://ischoolinitiative.org/) one of the most useful pages on the website is the list of educational applications that Travis recommends for students and teachers.  The list is at http://ischoolinitiative.org/services/educational-apps.html#top.
