School and Community Partnership!
On Thursday, May
24, students in Mr. Larsen's Marketing II class, got a chance to put
into practice what they have been learning for the past two years.
Groups of 2-3 students made their "pitches" to members
of the Rotary, Economic Development Committee, and Gloucester Times on
ways to improve the Rockport Tourism industry. Ideas ranged from better
use of social media to a "mini Motif #1" tourism booth. The adults were
quite impressed with the ideas and look forward
to a partnership with our marketing students in the future.
